Whangarei RDA has been a vital part of the Northland community for years, providing life-changing therapeutic riding services. As an affiliated member of New Zealand Riding for the Disabled (NZRDA), we operate under strict accredited standards to ensure the best outcomes for our riders.

Because we receive no government funding, we rely entirely on the generosity of our local community and partners to keep our programmes running. By becoming a sponsor, you are helping thousands of people with disabilities access the benefits of horse therapy.

Sponsorship Tiers

We offer several levels of sponsorship to suit different businesses and individual goals. Each tier comes with a formal agreement and specific recognition benefits.

Corporate Partnerships (3-Year Terms)

Platinum Sponsor ($5,000 per year): Our premier partnership level. Includes prominent permanent signage, flags at all events, your logo on all communications, and the right to use the RDA logo in your own marketing.

Gold Sponsor ($3,000 per year): A high-impact commitment. Includes permanent signage, website acknowledgement, and an invitation to our termly morning tea with the team.

Annual Sponsorships (1-Year Terms)

Silver Sponsor ($1,500 per year): Includes signage, recognition in our Annual Report, and invitations to meet the Committee and attend rider events.

Bronze Sponsor ($500 per year): Includes your name listed on our website and communications, as well as invitations to all our rider events.

Direct Impact Sponsorships

Rider Sponsor ($1,200 per year): Directly covers the cost of one rider attending RDA for a term.

Horse Sponsor ($1,000 per year): Helps cover the essential costs for one of our therapy horses, including feed, farrier, and medical care.

Goods & Services: We gratefully acknowledge those who provide professional services or supplies. If the value reaches our sponsorship thresholds, you will receive the corresponding benefits.

Make a Donation

If you aren’t ready for a formal sponsorship agreement, a one-off donation still makes a massive difference in keeping our rider fees affordable.

Tax Benefits: As a registered charity (CC38936), your donation is eligible for a 33% tax rebate from the IRD. For example, a $3,000 donation could mean $1,000 back to you.
